You are so lucky your insurance responded so soon. My doctor sent a request to my insurace almost 4 weeks ago for this exact procedure and I still haven’t heard anything.

You have a date! I understand your doubt. But I don’t think your doctor would suggest surgery unless your MRI showed that things were that bad. I’m so glad you’re going to get TOPAZ instead of traditional surgery! Crutches are a total hassle. But people are so nice! I found that a backpack worked really well instead of my usual shoulder bag. Just heard from a friend that he has achilles tendinosis. I’m going to put him in touch with your blog because he’s a runner, too. He’s trying to do Ironman with Fletch in June.
