I didn’t think I was ready for the Race for the Roses 5k. I have been babying a knee that’s on the mend and heels that are getting worse instead of better. So I was shocked to run a personal best. But I did it, and it felt great. I think celebrating PR’s is a great idea, but I’ve never really done it, outside a pat on the back anyway.
I’d like to hear from you. Do you celebrate PR’s and if so, how? Food, shoes, pampering…how do you treat yourself after running your personal best?
